Paperific
There's a beautiful tension in using materials that are inherently delicate to represent things that were once central to human life but are now relics. Here I explore themes of memory, impermanence, and the passage of time. The fragility of the paper mirrors how fragile our memories can be, how easily they can tear, fade, or become distorted.
It also speaks to the loss of the ways we used to communicate, create, and connect. There's a quiet melancholy in preserving these things in a form that can't last, like a tribute to the past that knows it won't survive. My art gives them a new kind of life, it may be temporary & fragile, but deeply present.
All art is handmade with various coloured paper.
